The Customs Department has launched the Thai Customs IPR Recordation System (TCIRs). This new system for Customs recordation of trademarks and copyrights is a platform that allows trademark or copyright owners to record their rights with the Customs Department, so that when suspected counterfeit or pirated goods arrive at the port, Customs officials can check the registered information and use it to inspect the suspicious cargo or contact the local representatives.
